Be challenged to Change
Have you heard the saying, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks”.
We are not dogs so I would guess that doesn’t apply to people. You can change, if you want to change. The problem is do you want to. What is the change? And is it a life change or just temporary. Some people handle change that is a day long or even a week. That would be to put up with the change until the time passes.
But what about life changes, the ones that make you better. When you give up an addiction, or if you move to another city. What about not talking about other people, or not eating what you use to eat, or going where you use to go.
Some of the choices we chose to change can be hard or next to impossible. It is not about how hard it is, it is more about what the end results. We have to be willing to challenge ourselves to change if it is for the better. Whatever the decisions is, count the cost.
If you don’t change what do you lose, and if you do change what do you gain. If you change for the better then counting the cost comes in your own favor to live a more powerful life.
